Thoughts into Action

Activism

Moving from Grief to Action

There is no getting around it, but for supporters of Democracy, last week’s US Presidential election result was a tough pill to swallow. The good thing is that so many communities were built up over the past ten years and even more during the short-lived Harris campaign. We are not alone. You are not alone.

Election

Republicans biting themselves in the A$$

I wonder if Justice Alito understood how damaging the Dobbs decision would be to women and to the Republican party in general. Women are turning out en masse and using our political power by voting.

Election

VP Harris’ speech at the Ellipse

The differences between the candidates couldn’t be more stark. I encourage you to watch her whole speech. The activism and early voting look good but keep the pedal to the metal. Ignore the polls, the pundits and just encourage everyone you know to vote.

Election

Madison Square Garden

Seeing the real footage from 1939 and watching a man get beat down and everyone (including the children on stage) enjoy it turns my stomach. But it important to face the past, face the hate, fully denounce it, and not let it repeat itself.
